Framing

Getting a firm understanding on how framing shapes the mindset of how information can be received is the biggest thing that people need to understand. What is the agenda what is the purpose? Is there any other way to look at this outside of what I’m being shown? What did they have to say about this? These are the important questions that we the audience need to be asking when it comes to receiving information. A lot of people don’t take into consideration the framing of questions the way how different broadcasters and journalist and even news writers and reporters can even report on a story can say a lot about what it is that we the audience is getting. A lot of people when they receive information from different news outlets and different forms of media even especially with social media they take it as the God honest gospel rather than doing the most important thing which is ask questions do individual research. My mom would always tell me that a pair of lips can always tell you anything. So it’s best for you to know something rather than believing in whatever it is somebody is telling you and you find out that you actually know nothing. Framing can determine how people think about different topics and even how people can think about other people. This is exactly why there’s so many people out here in this world that are dealing with the Islamaphobia and it’s all because of framing that has been done from not only the media but a lot of people don’t take the actual time that they need to get out and actually get a chance to get to know people. I genuinely feel like framing is used to control the narrative of whatever it is the media is trying to push. Which I can honestly say that we’ve seen that within this past year. When it comes to trump I’ve listen to Fox News talk about Donald Trump’s popularity going up after the way he handled coronavirus. The framing was made to make it appear as if more people are satisfied with the job that Trump is doing even though he failed to act.
